What do I do with bulky trash items that won’t fit in my roll cart?
Furniture, bulky objects and oversized brush is hauled away once a month at no charge. This service for LeLouvre is the first Monday of every month. If placed at curbside by 7 a.m. the first Monday morning (but not earlier than the day before, please) it will be picked up during that week. Your “Good Neighbor” newsletter will generally remind you when the next brushy / bulky trash pick up will occur. Brush and yard trash will be picked up once a week on your regular collection days. Please bag everything possible. Brush should be cut and tied in bundles of three feet or less. The bundle’s weight should not exceed 50 pounds.
To maintain cleanliness and appearance of our neighborhood please do not place brush and bulky trash out earlier than one week prior to the collection week. Earlier set out is a violation of City Code, subject to a citation and a minimum fine from $200 to $2,000 and the city has issued citations in our neighborhood.
Place sealed plastic bags of leaves (up to 50 gallon/50 pound capacity) tree limbs furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc. at the curb, but not on sidewalks.
Materials NOT collected:
đ Bagged grass clippings
đ New construction or remodeling materials (lumber, sheetrock, etc.)
đ Rocks, bricks, concrete, or dirt
